Student Assistant - Quantitative Focused
We are looking for a Student Assistant – Qualitative method focused to join our Resilient Economies sector which is a fast-growing and international team at Ecorys. The team has four key focus areas: sustainable trade, the green transition, circular economy, industry and markets. Within the Resilient Economies team, the main clients are the institutions of the European Commission, international organisations such as the World Bank and various other international and bilateral donors, and Dutch clients such as the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
As our Student Assistant, you would be working closely with the team to support them in their work on business development and the implementation of various types of projects (studies and technical assistance) in relation to the four key focus areas mentioned above.
What will you be doing
Your tasks will vary depending on the project and business development activities of the team, but in general, they will include tasks such as supporting quantitative research, e.g. through literature review, preparation of data in Excel, and other methods.
It will also include activities such as identifying experts or stakeholders, supporting the organisation of interviews or workshops, keeping notes during meetings or interviews, programming surveys, and depending on your interests and knowledge supporting the write-up of reports and studies.

Ecorys offers an informal and at the same time professional and challenging working atmosphere. You often work in a team and you are given a great deal of freedom and responsibility to work on your tasks independently. As a student assistant, you can organise your hours flexibly so that it can be easily combined with your studies. You are expected generally to work 16 to 24 hours a week. Your contract is set out in an on-call contract.
